The last two quarter finals of TECHLABS Cup have been finished with favorites SK Gaming and underdogs KerchNET advancing to semi finals over Vifort and ESC Gaming. The first of tonight's matches saw SK Gaming with their new addition Martin "trace" Heldt take on Russian underdogs Vifort. First map de_train ended up being a very one sided affair despite of multiple rounds early on in their Terrorist side where Vifort had the numbers, including a one versus four clutch by Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund. In the end SK Gaming went on to win 14-1 as defenders and finished off the map with a score of 16-4. Second map was de_inferno, the map Vifort tied Natus Vincere on in the group stage. It started no different as the Swedes went on a run of nine rounds before Vifort could reply. That was little help though, as the half still ended 13-2 in SK's favor as Terrorists. The final half was back and forth for a while, but ended 3-5 with SK winning 16-7 on de_inferno, and 2-0 overall. TECHLABS Cup 2012Best of 0 Next up was de_nuke where the underdogs once again opened strong, going up 3-0. ESC tied up the game at 3-3, and suddenly the game got restarted. After a few minutes of waiting the game continued, and ESC managed to end the half with a narrow 8-7 lead. The Ukrainians kept grinding out rounds in the second half though, and managed to close the game 16-14. TECHLABS Cup 2012Best of 0 |
